London Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a service providing CBT, Counselling and Coaching to clients, who usually either self-refer, or who are referred via their healthcare provider or insurance company.

WHAT PRIMARY DATA WE NEED

When you send an enquiry through this website, the personal data we collect from you will include:

Questions, queries or feedback you leave, including your email address and/or telephone number if you contact us. The legal basis for the above is in the first place to enable you to contact us so that we can provide you with a service or make enquiries about that service.

Your personal information (name and address) are not collected to identify who you are for this secondary purpose. This is just to improve the website and gather information and feedback to improve our services.

What we do with your data

The primary data we collect in line with your enquiry will not be shared with other supplier organisations or any other third party, without your express consent.
For example, when booking appointments in for you in the clinics we use, only your first name will be used, until you give us express consent to use your full name. You may wish to share your full name and contact details with the clinic at some future date, to facilitate the booking system and to enable the receptionist to contact you when needed. However, you will be asked for your consent beforehand.

We will not:

  • Sell or rent your data to third parties or
  • Share your data with third parties for marketing purposes

We would only share your data if we were required to do so by law or under exceptional circumstances where you were at risk to yourself or at risk of harming others. Also, before commencing therapy, we will ask you to sign a contract, which allows you to consent to our confidentiality policy.

Our services are not designed for or targeted at children under the ages of 16 years. We do not intentionally collect or maintain data about anyone under the age of 16.

We design and run our systems to make sure your data is as safe as possible at any stage, both while it’s processed and when it’s stored.

How we protect your data and keep it secure

We are committed to doing all that we can to keep your data secure. We have set up systems and processes to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure of your data.

2. A copy of that personal data
3. That anything inaccurate in your personal data is corrected immediately
